Class Participation Action Item (CPAI)

Case Situation
You will attend a business meeting (our class) in a few days. As an action item for the meeting, you must give a short report about how YOU could apply one of the items on the meeting's agenda (my chapter outline) to a realistic future work situation that you may have within five years after graduation. Select only items preceded with an asterisk (*).

Requirements

  1. Right click the appropriate link below and use the SaveTargetAs option to download and save the Word document:

         CPAI for Ch 8, 10, or 11 - ClassPartAICh810or11.doc
         CPAI for Ch 12, 13, 14, or 15 - ClassPartAICh121314or15.doc.

  2. Prepare your Class Participation Action Item (CPAI) by renaming and modifying your copy. This file discusses the application of control charts to income tax preparation. To foster your creativity, the application of control charts to income tax preparation will not be permitted.

  3. As demonstrated in class, click on the appropriate link below to submit your CPAI. If you have problems with this form, submit a written explanation on my desk before class starts, along with a copy of your modified Word document.

  4. Print and put on a flash drive, copies of your modified Word document and bring them to class every class on or after the assigned date.

  5. Volunteers for a CPAI will be requested any class on or after the assigned date.

  6. When you volunteer for a CPAI, you'll be asked to come to the front of the room, and sit in a desk next to mine. We will then share your modified copy of the Word document to have a short informal role play about how you will apply the topic in a realistic future work situation. Constructive comments from the class are encouraged.
